There was no previous tool that would allow you to remotely run various SLAMs and SfMs algorithms and compare the results obtained, the speed of algorithms, and other characteristics without installing all the necessary software. The SLAM testing service (STS) could help SLAM researchers to automate the evaluation of SLAM methods. STS is based on ROS and uses ROS APIs to launch tests and provide input data to ROS-compatible SLAMs. STS allows users to configure, test, and evaluate more than 20 SLAMs and SfMs out of the box via the web interface in online and offline modes. The results can be browsed in summary tables, maps, trajectories, and point clouds.
