How it works

Tell us how JetBrains IDEs became part of your coding journey – from your first lines of code and university classes to building projects, landing internships, or starting your career.

You can choose one of two ways to share your story:

Video post – Create a vertical video (max 60 seconds) and get the chance to be one of three winners of a 13″ MacBook Air M4.
Text post – Share your story in a text post and get the chance to be one of five winners of a popcorn machine.

💡 Bonus: The first 14 participants who register and publish a qualifying video or text post within the first two weeks will win a USD 50 JetBrains Merchandise Store voucher!

How to enter

Register

Register with your university email address and provide a link to your social media profile on the platform where you plan to post. To participate, you must have an active JetBrains educational license (JetBrains Student Pack).

Share your story

Share your story about learning to code with JetBrains IDEs – in a 60-second vertical video or a text post.

Post it publicly

Post it publicly between September 8 and October 8, 2025, on one of the following platforms: Instagram (feed or reels, not stories), YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Bilibili, Douyin, or RedNote.
Make sure your account is public – otherwise, we may not see it.

Follow and tag

Follow and tag @JetBrainsAcademy when you post on Instagram, LinkedIn, X, and YouTube. However, if you post on Bilibili, Douyin, or RedNote, tag @JetBrains.

💡 Pro tip: Mention the JetBrains Student Pack in the text description, add a link to the JetBrains Student Pack website, and show a screenshot or clip of your project in a JetBrains IDE for bonus points!
