Optimizing UAV-to-Car Communications in 3D Environments Through Dynamic UAV Positioning

無人航空機 (UAV) は、自動車の間で行うコミュニケーションを支えるインフラに制限がある領域でリレーとしての役割を果たします。UAV と自動車のコミュニケーションについて行われた過去の研究では、地形の湾曲がリンクの質に大きく影響することが分かっています。したがい、この論文では、視線の確保に影響する地形の湾曲を考慮し、車両環境で UAV の位置決めを最適化する粒子群最適化を利用した位置決め手法を提案します。提案する手法は、地形によって生じる経路損失を考慮します。

Multi-Agent SLAM Approaches for Low-Cost Platforms

移動エージェントで起動される最新の SLAM (自己位置推定とマッピングの同時実行) アルゴリズムは、計算リソースに制限があります。複数の計算エージェントを追加して、1 つの場合よりもすばやく周辺環境を探索することにより、各エージェントの負担を軽減することが、一貫した効果を期待できる策として挙げられます。この論文では、マルチエージェント SLAM アルゴリズムの領域における先端技術を紹介し、そのアルゴリズムの開発に取り組む開発者が直面する問題について説明します。マルチエージェント SLAM の解決すべき問題 - この論文ではアルゴリズムの実行時に別のエージェントが構築するマップを結合する際に生じる問題についても検討します。さらに、レーザー搭載 2D 単一仮定 SLAM を複数のエージェントに拡張するアルゴリズムについても、そのパフォーマンス評価を交えながら紹介します。

Mobile Robot Pose Estimation Based on Position/Velocity Sensor Fusion

自立型自動運転プラットフォームは、独自のオンボードセンサーのみを使用して、周辺環境に関する情報を受け取っています。複数のセンサーを使用すれば、取得できる情報量を増やし、測定エラーを減らせると考えてしまいがちです。しかし、問題は、異なる種類のセンサー (カメラや加速度計など) から得る測定データをどのように融合すれば、プラットフォームや世界の状態に関する洗練されたデータを取得できるかという点です。この論文では、移動モデルから抽出されるエラーの正確性に関する可能性を実証するグループに基づいた理論を紹介します。さらに、オドメーターとスキャンマッチャーという 2 つのセンサーから得る測定データを融合することに対してこの理論を適用した結果も得ています。
