A club focused on learning the fundamentals of AI, with opportunities to reach Olympiad-level proficiency.

1. Introduction. These Terms and Conditions (referred to as the "Terms") form an agreement by and between an individual natural person (or legal representative), you (the "Participant", "you") and JetBrains s.r.o., a private limited company incorporated and existing under the laws of Czech Republic, with its registered office at Na Hřebenech II 1718/8, 140 00 Prague, Czech Republic, Company ID No.: 265 02 275, registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague, Section C, File 86211 ("JetBrains"), under which you may participate in online learning and contest initiative - JetBrains Youth Club(s). You must be 13 -19 years of age in order to participate.

The classes are scheduled for the period October 1, 2024 - May 31, 2025.

We will communicate with you exclusively through the Discord platform. The use of this service is governed by their own terms.

The aims of the JetBrains Youth Club(s) are:

• Offering fun and challenging opportunities for you to improve your programming and math skills, proving that JetBrains cares about education.
• Encouraging you to explore problem-solving and learn about the tools that real programmers use every day, connecting you with the tech world.
• Providing you with hands-on experience in solving mathematical and programming problems.
• Promoting mathematics and programming to spark interest in these fields.

2) Terms. Your participation in JetBrains Youth Club(s) is governed by these Terms. You accept and agree to these Terms by registration to the JetBrains Youth Club(s).

3) Email contact. In order to participate in JetBrains Youth Club(s), You must provide us with your name, surname and an email address that you regularly check, where we can send You important information about the JetBrains Youth Clubs. In these Terms, we will refer to this email address as your "Contact Email".

4)By participating in the JetBrains Youth Club(s), you acknowledge that we may collect information and gather feedback from you regarding the clubs.

5) Certificates and Rewards. Please note that you will not receive any certificates, rewards, or any other form of confirmation indicating your enrollment, progress, or completion of studies in the JetBrains Youth Club(s).

6) Personal Data. The Participant acknowledges that JetBrains may need to collect and further process the following personal data from them in order for the Participant to take part in JetBrains Youth Club(s). Contact details: first name, surname, email address address, age, school name, graduation year, nickname on social media, Codeforces handle. We will only use Your Personal Data for organizing the JetBrains Youth Clubs. We may send You educational newsletters with your explicit consent. The Participant under 16 years old must confirm that their legal guardian provided consent for processing of Participant's personal data.

7) Privacy Notice. The personal data You provide to JetBrains will be processed in accordance with the JetBrains Privacy Notice. By accepting these Terms, you agree to the JetBrains Privacy Notice, which is part of these Terms.

8) Data Access. The Participant understands that JetBrains may process the Participant’s personal data, or any feedback that the Participant has provided to JetBrains, in cooperation with the associated companies of JetBrains inside or even outside of the EU solely for the purposes of organizing the JetBrains Youth Clubs. For the purposes of these Terms, associated companies are companies controlled by, controlling, or under common control with JetBrains. JetBrains and its associated companies act as joint data controllers, who are jointly responsible for compliance with applicable data protection legislation. JetBrains is primarily responsible for exercising the rights of data subjects and providing information about data processing.

9) Export Control. JetBrains will immediately reject or exclude any participants ordinarily incident (such as located or residing) in the territories subject to export control or sanctions restrictions. The territories subject to export control or sanctions restrictions include North Korea, Iran, Cuba, Syria, Russian Federation, Belarus, Crimea region of Ukraine, territories of the so-called entities of Donetsk and Luhansk People's Republic or other annexed territories of Ukraine - such as Kherson and Zaporozhye regions. Participant is required to cooperate with JetBrains in their efforts to ensure compliance with Export Control laws.

10) Changes. JetBrains reserves the right to change these Terms (including the terms for any Reward), at any time without notice. The effective version of the Terms will be published on the JetBrains website here and/or in the description of JetBrains Youth Clubs. You understand that the details of the JetBrains Youth Clubs, such as the date, duration, and scope, are subject to possible changes. You understand that JetBrains may cancel JetBrains Youth Clubs or your participation in JetBrains Youth Clubs for any reason.

11) Participation. JetBrains reserves the right to exclude any Participant from JetBrains Youth Club(s) at any time for any reason and terminate these Terms with immediate effect upon delivery of an email to such Participant.

12) Governing law. The Terms and the relationship between You and JetBrains in connection with Your participation in JetBrains Youth Club(s) are governed by the laws of the Czech Republic. All disputes arising from the Terms or in connection with JetBrains Youth Clubs will be resolved by the applicable courts of Prague, the Czech Republic.

13) Independent Relationship. The relationship between JetBrains and a Participant is independent in nature, and the Participant shall not claim to be a partner, employee, agent, or joint venture partner of or with JetBrains, nor claim any benefits available to the personnel of JetBrains under / before any law or forum.
