Starting on January 2, 2025, continuity discounts will no longer apply to new organizational subscriptions. This change affects all JetBrains IDEs, .NET tools, the All Products Pack, the dotUltimate bundle, and JetBrains plugins.
This update only impacts new organizational licenses purchased after this date. Your existing licenses and packages will retain their current discount rates.
For example, if you currently hold 100 IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate licenses with no active discount, you will still receive the 20% continuity discount on your first renewal of these licenses and 40% on all subsequent renewals. Similarly, if you have already qualified for a 20% or 40% continuity discount, you will still receive a 40% discount on all future renewals thereafter. However, any new license bought after January 2, 2025, will not be eligible for a continuity discount, as we are sunsetting this benefit.
If you plan to purchase new subscriptions under the current continuity discount model, please ensure you do so before January 2, 2025, to take advantage of the existing rates.
Additionally, we will maintain the discount rate for upgrades from your current single IDE licenses to the All Products Pack or dotUltimate bundle. This means you can continue to benefit from the same savings when upgrading.
For example, if you currently hold an IntelliJ IDEA Ultimate license with a 20% or 40% discount, you can upgrade to the All Products Pack with the same 20% or 40% discount at any time. This ensures you continue to enjoy valuable savings while enhancing your toolkit. However, please note that this does not apply to downgrades (e.g. from the All Products Pack to a single IDE license).
This update will allow us to invest in future growth and continued innovation, and we appreciate your understanding and continued partnership.
