Submit a talk and share your experience — whether it’s about building and maintaining your plugin, challenges you’ve faced, or anything else that could help other plugin authors on their journey.

What is JetBrains Plugin Developer Conf?
It is a free, live, virtual community event focused on developing and managing plugins for JetBrains products.
Event date: November 5, 2025
Location: Online
What type of talks are we looking for?
While you’re welcome to submit any talk that you may find interesting (as long as it’s related to plugin development and JetBrains Marketplace, of course), some areas we’d love to hear about are:
- Finding a plugin idea
- Developing a plugin
- Navigating the approval process with the Marketplace team
- Marketing and monetizing a plugin
- Managing user feedback and support
- Maintaining plugin compatibility and handling technical issues
- Overcoming any challenges you may have encountered on Marketplace
- Best practices for aspiring plugin developers
- Anything that does not fit the list above but is related to plugin development and management

JetBrains Plugin Developer Conf at a glance
- Talks are in English.
- Talks are presented live.
- Talks are 30 or 45 minutes, followed by an optional 5–10 minute Q&A session.
- Talks are scheduled during business hours in your time zone.
- Talks are streamed, recorded and published on YouTube, and shared in our newsletters, blogs, and other channels.
- You can present a slideshow, do a live demo, etc. – whatever you think works best for your content!
- If selected, you’ll get a one-year personal All Products Pack subscription as a gift from us.
- If you’re selected, we’ll be happy to help you with your preparation by facilitating dry-runs, giving feedback on your talk, and helping you smooth out any demos.

FAQ
I want to use {JetBrains tool} in my talk but I don't have a license. Can you help?
We have free trials available that you can download. In addition, all accepted speakers get a one-year personal All Products Pack subscription.
Do you have any other tips?
We receive many submissions, but slots are limited. As such, here are a few tips for how you might make your submission stand out:
Talk title – We give every submission due consideration, no matter the title, but there’s no denying that a catchy and interesting title plays favorably. At the same time, make sure that the title aligns with your abstract.
Abstract – Make your abstract concise and to the point, but don’t make it too concise. An abstract that is just two sentences is unlikely to be accepted. We don’t expect you to write an essay, but please try to provide information on what you’ll be covering in your talk and what the key learning points/takeaways will be for the audience. If you’re submitting a topic that may be popular, try to find an angle that would distinguish your topic from others.
Level – Please try to accurately define the level of your talk.
Session length – Sessions are 30 or 45 minutes long, followed by an optional Q&A session.
