Code of Conduct

We’re thrilled that you’re joining us for a JetBrains event! By participating as an attendee, delegate, speaker, partner, sponsor, or volunteer, you agree to the following code of conduct.

By hosting events, JetBrains hopes to support and build the community. To that end, we strive to create a respectful, safe, friendly, and positive environment where everyone feels welcome to speak, participate, and engage.

This means we want to our events to be free of harassment, offense, or discrimination for everyone, regardless of their gender, sexual orientation, age, physical ability or appearance, body size, nationality, race, ethnicity, political persuasion, or religion (or lack thereof).

We do not tolerate harassment or disrespectful behavior – in any form, towards anyone – as part of our events. This type of behavior can take many forms – as written or verbal communication, the use of images or sounds, or other activities. It includes deliberate intimidation, unwelcome sexual or other sorts of attention, stalking, trolling, doxing, non-consensual photography or recording, disruption of talks, or other interference intended to affect others’ enjoyment of an event.

Everyone has a part to play in creating this environment. We trust speakers to set a welcoming and inclusive tone, avoiding presentations that harass, discriminate, or offend. We rely on our sponsors, exhibitors, and partners to maintain this atmosphere off-stage, including by not using inappropriate text or images in their materials.

If you believe someone has breached this code of conduct, or is creating a dangerous or unwelcoming situation, please let one of our staff members know. We expect participants to immediately stop any inappropriate behavior if requested. We reserve the right to expel participants who do not comply, and we may refuse future attendance and refuse to provide a refund of any attendance fees or costs.
