Research Preview Program for JetBrains Air

We are building a new AI code editor — and we’d love your help shaping it.

What is the Research Preview Program?

The Research Preview Program is your chance to get early access to JetBrains Air — an AI code editor — and be part of its development. As a participant, you’ll use the latest version with new features and provide feedback to help guide the product’s future direction.

The program will run for approximately two months, until mid-July 2025. During that time, you’ll receive early access to the product and its updates, along with invitations to share your thoughts via our feedback forms or in our dedicated Discord community.

You may also be invited to take part in more in-depth research activities aimed at exploring how AI can make software development more enjoyable and efficient.

Your experience and insights will help us drive the development of the product and explore new ways to make developers more productive with the help of AI.
